I created this effect for an extremely low budget student film entitled, Urban Decay, directed by Nadia Robertson. The scene called for a character to have his spine ripped out by another character. I achieved this effect by building up several layers of latex on the actors back, and then creating this reservoir, I filled it with blood and a spine that was modeled out of clay.
This effect was achieved by making latex molds and applying them to the actor.
This is an example of some very subtle facial cuts and bruises.
This was the precursor to a puppeted baby that was used in a short film called 'The Nurse', by Kenneth Hurd.
This effect was achieved by applying resin teeth to the inside a latex-based set of lips.
This is a 'cat-double' that was created for a feature length film called "Vampire" directed by Ben Robertson. The cat was used in a very quick shot that was used to show the cat being gutted.
The ghost with the most!
